Hello
I have a 2003 EX Tourer (122k miles) which is still going fine (although cruise control needs fixing, and had to shell out around £600 to get aircon fixed last year).
I love it (best 11k I ever spent, back in 2006).
I semi-regularly do searches on Autotrader, just to see if there is a newer model to take me into the future (I would like it to last at least as long as my current car !).
Today there is an 8th gen 2.4 EX Tourer (petrol, my preference) with 40k & 1 owner - so I am tempted.
However I've read about smaller boot space in 8th gen Tourers, and possible sunroof issues (I do like a sunroof).
My intention is to keep going in combustion engine car for at least another 5 - 10 years until the EV world has evolved more (to include estates !) & the charging infrastructure is much more robust.
Should I pass on this & just stick with my 2003 model ? Any further advice on later Honda Accord Tourers vs my current ? Or a suitable non-Honda replacement (probably blasphemy on here) ? I've read a lot of good things about the Skoda Superb estate..
