Hello. I've read all the stuff here, tried a few things within my very basic capabilities, and I am now giving up! The tailgate latch sometimes doesn't work - this could be immediately after resetting or up to 8 weeks, or anything in between.
I am rigging up a string to pull the latch so that I don't have to crawl into the back. To avoid having to undo the battery and reset the radio, I want just to remove the relevant fuse to reset the tailgate, but I cannot find which one (and it's not 21 inside!).
Does anybody know which fuse will do the job?

2004 Tourer 2.0 auto (well maintained, lovely car with 146,000 miles, that I want to keep going indefinitely)
